The Early to College Program is a common path taken by C.I. Academy students. Nearly all high school students take their higher level foreign language courses via online community college courses. Assisted by a high school teacher in class, students complete coursework that earns them credit both for high school and university at the same time.
Many students also take core classes such as English, math, or history at the college while dual enrolled at CI. Once students have proven that they are competent and prepared for college-level work, they can choose to be enrolled with a local community college as an Advanced Education student.
We have an Advanced Education/Dual Enrollment partnership with the Los Rios Community Colleges (such as ARC, CRC, and Sac City) as well as Sierra College. This option is ideal because Advanced Education students at community colleges attend courses tuition free! These students also receive free tutoring for their college courses while still attending C.I. Academy.
